IcelandFire & Ice
A land of extremes, Iceland is a natural paradise. A unique place for its spectacular landscapes and its particular history, its culture is a testimony of resilience, and its size ensures a very convenient sense of space, ideal to explore our inner journey.
September is the locals' favorite month to explore. Being the transition from summer to autumn, there are fewer tourists, and 14 hours of light (it gets dark at 10pm). But most importantly, in September the Icelanders welcome the Northern Lights, and we shall go in search of them!
Our adventurous spirit led us to travel the world long before we met. We found travel to be a deeply educational experience.
Then we met, and the learning became exponential. Then, in the middle of the Himalayas, came the stroke of inspiration.
Our new mission would be to share that sense of wonder, and those discoveries with special people, to build a new traveling community that shares consciousness and purpose. Today, more than ten trips and 250 travelers later, we can say that we are fulfilling our dream.
We pick you up at the airport; and depending on the arrival time of each one, the exploration will start at once!
Visit to classics of the Golden Circle:
In the afternoon we leave for the south, where we will arrive at our Midgard Base camp.
Walk on ice.
Visit iconic waterfalls such as Skógafoss and Kvernufoss.
Skoga River Hike.
One of the most difficult areas to access and outside the traditional tourist route, we will cross glacial rivers without bridges on super jeeps, and we will witness wonderful landscapes. High
dose amazement guaranteed.
This area was the inspiration for many Game of Thrones scenes.
Day to explore the small town of Hvolsvollur.
Chill out in our incredible basecamp:
Rest, reading, sauna, a hot chocolate on the terrace or enjoy live music with a beer in hand...
At night, aurora sightings from the jacuzzi!
Travel by ferry to this legendary island, known for its unique flora and fauna, and for being home to one of Iceland's most extreme festivals.
Exploring an ancient petrified lava channel.
We’ll visit one of the most active volcanoes in the country.
Arrival in Reykjavik.
Free day to visit the capital.
Cosmopolitan and liberal, Reykjavik has a unique culture, forged over hundreds of years of isolated cultural evolution, exposed to globalization until a couple of decades ago. It is known for its music scene, parties, straight
forward and fun people, and of course, its architecture.
Blue Lagoon hot springs: one of the most scenic and renowned spots in Iceland.
The Northern Lights are unpredictable. With this in mind, we chose Midgard Base Camp, which will give us the flexibility to admire them from their on
site hot tub, or allow us to go chasing them at night. Going out in search of them with emotion but detachment, and embracing their ethereal nature, is an important part of their magic.

-The initial deposit is refundable until July 15th. After this date, it ceases to be refundable.
-If due to illness or some situation related to COVID you are not able to travel 60 days before the trip, the payment made is transferable to another trip.
-Between 30 and 60 days before traveling, the payment made is transferable to another trip (minus the deposit).
-100% of the trip payment must be made no later than 30 days before traveling.
-With less than 30 days before traveling, we will do everything possible to find another person to take your place (sometimes we have a waiting list), in which case the above policy would apply. However we cannot guarantee it. And in the case we cannot replace your spot, unfortunately we cannot transfer or refund the payment.
In the unlikely scenario of having to cancel the trip due to a COVID crisis, it will be postponed and we will communicate new dates. We recommend purchasing flexible airline tickets so that you do not lose your investment in the case you have to change your travel date.
